A program related to scriptwriting was organized by the Mass Communication Department of Gossner College. The chief guest of the event was Dr. Kamal Bose, a renowned literary figure and former head of the department at St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi. He explained the meaning of scriptwriting to the students and said that it is a technique that enhances both visual and audio media. He emphasized that scriptwriting plays a crucial role in the information we receive through radio and television. He highlighted the importance of regular reading in order to become a good writer and encouraged students to identify and develop their individual talents. He added that along with knowledge, having practical skills is equally important.
He further stated that with self-confidence, one can overcome the darkness in life and bring in light. A quiz related to scriptwriting was also conducted. The program was attended by HOD Prof. Mahima Golden Bilung, Prof. Anuj Kumar, Prof. Santosh Kumar, and all the students of the Mass Communication Department.
