
Ranchi: The Department of Mass Communication at Gossner College today unveiled the official poster of Gossner Cine Fest 5.0. The college Principal, Prof. Incharge Prof. Elani Purti, jointly released the poster along with G.B. Secretary Dr. Lugun, Bursar Prof. Praveen Surin, Course Coordinator Prof. Asha Rani Kerketta, IQAC Coordinator Dr. Ajay Kumar, Head of the Department of Mass Communication Prof. Mahima Golden Bilung, faculty members Prof. Anuj Kumar, Prof. Santosh Kumar, Prof. Tej Mundu, and members of the core committee.
The organizers also announced the festival dates during the poster launch. Gossner Cine Fest 5.0 will take place from 9 to 11 April at the Gossner College campus.

Until now, the festival has been held at the national level. This year, the organizers have expanded it to the international level. The festival aims to bring together filmmakers and media enthusiasts from India and abroad on a common platform.
Gossner Cine Fest 5.0, Gossner College Ranchi will include multiple categories such as Feature Films, Short Films, Documentaries, Music Videos, Advertisements, and Tribal Films. Films in all languages are eligible. However, non-Hindi and non-English films must include English subtitles.
The organizers will release submission links soon through the festival’s official platforms. They will also share detailed guidelines covering eligibility, formats, copyright, and screening procedures with the submission announcement.
The Department of Mass Communication at Gossner College organizes the festival every year. Over the years, the festival has emerged as a successful and impactful initiative. Its primary objective is to provide a platform for emerging filmmakers, writers, and videographers and to encourage their creative growth.
