College Life: Not Just Studies, But Real Experience of Life by – Afsari Praveen

College life is a very special part of every student’s life. Many people think that college is just for studies and exams, but in reality, college life is not only about studies. It is a time when we meet new people, gain new experiences, and develop our personality. College also teaches us to understand the responsibilities of life.

While college studies are certainly important, the approach is slightly different from school. Students have more freedom and are required to take responsibility for their own well-being. Attending lectures, completing assignments, and preparing for exams are part of the daily routine. Teachers not only provide bookish knowledge but also teach practical knowledge, which is very useful for the future.

The best part of college life is friendship. Friends made in college become lifelong memories. It is fun to sit in the canteen and chat, study in groups, and help each other. These small moments make college life even more memorable.

College also hosts cultural programs, sports, and festivals. Participating in these activities boosts confidence and helps discover new talents. It also develops skills like teamwork and leadership, which are very useful in the future.

How to Transition from School to College
▪️ After completing school, I chose a college and course based on my interests.
▪️ I filled out the admission form and submitted my documents.
▪️ On my first day at college, I felt both excited and nervous.
▪️ Exploring the new campus and environment was a refreshing experience.

Changes After Coming to College
▪️ Strict rules became fewer, and freedom increased.
▪️ My relationship with teachers became more friendly.
▪️ The level of studies became tougher than school.
▪️ I learned to manage my time on my own.

Challenges of College Life
▪️ Adjusting to the new environment was difficult at first.
▪️ Making new friends was challenging initially.
▪️ I felt the pressure of assignments and exams.
▪️ Time management was a major challenge.
▪️ Sometimes, traveling and maintaining attendance were difficult.

College Life Budget (Expenses)
▪️ Admission and semester fees were required.
▪️ Money was spent on books and study materials.
▪️ Daily travel (bus/auto) expenses were needed.
▪️ A small budget was spent on canteen food and snacks.
▪️ Some money was also spent on festivals and events.

To manage a college budget, we should create a monthly plan and prioritize essential expenses. We should reduce unnecessary spending (like extra snacks or shopping) and develop the habit of saving money.

College life is not just about studying; it is about real-life experiences. It makes us responsible and confident, preparing us for the future. Therefore, every student should enjoy college life and try to learn something new every day.
