I live in the city now because of my studies, but a part of my heart still belongs to my village. No matter how busy life gets here, I always find a reason to go back—and most of the time, that reason is my mom.
There’s something about my village that the city can never replace. The air feels different, cleaner, calmer. Mornings start with the sound of birds instead of traffic, and evenings feel peaceful without all the noise. In the city, everything runs fast—people, time, even thoughts. But in my village, life slows down, and I get time to just be.
Whenever I go back, I feel connected again—to my roots, to nature, and to myself. Walking through the fields, sitting under trees, or just watching the sunset there gives me a kind of peace I can’t explain. It’s simple, but it’s real.
Being close to nature is something I truly love. In the village, I don’t need anything fancy to feel happy. A quiet moment, fresh air, and being around my people is enough. It reminds me that life doesn’t always have to be complicated.
Even though I’m building my future in the city, my village will always be my home. It’s not just a place—it’s a feeling, a memory, and a part of who I am.
