Ranchi: The newsletter Gossner Times from the Department of Mass Communication at Gossner College was officially released by Principal Prof. Elani Purty, Bursar Prof. Praveen Surin, Course Coordinator Prof. Asha Rani Kerketta, Assistant Professors Mahima Golden Bilung and Santosh Kumar.
Gossner Times features the department’s activities from the past six months. This edition covers events and achievements from January to June 2025 and marks the ninth issue of the newsletter.

Students Gulshan, Khushruba, Muskan, Abhishek Kumar, Abhishek Singh, Tania, Rajni, and others contributed significantly to its creation.
On the occasion, the Principal congratulated and extended best wishes to the department. She said, “What students learn in college today becomes lifelong knowledge. Practical learning, along with classroom education, is highly valuable in shaping their careers. This experience gradually enhances students’ skills in writing, designing, photography, and more.”
Assistant Professor Mahima Golden Bilung shared that the newsletter was completed in 15 days. It was created by students under the guidance of the faculty. Final year (Semester 5) students with an interest in writing were involved in developing the newsletter. Meanwhile, students interested in video production are working on a video magazine, which will be released soon.
On this occasion, Rajni, Tania, Saurabh, Anal, Rohit, and others were present.
