Students from the Mass Communication Department of Gossner College recently participated in an educational visit to the Dainik Jagran Film Festival, held at JD High Street Mall in Ranchi. The festival showcased films in multiple languages, offering a rich cinematic experience.
During the visit, students not only enjoyed multilingual films but also gained insights into the technical and creative aspects of cinema. They attended masterclasses and interactive sessions on topics such as filmmaking, scriptwriting, direction, and film criticism, receiving valuable guidance from industry experts.
The educational trip was led by Prof. Mahima Golden Bilung, with over 30 students from the department taking part. Faculty members emphasized that such visits help bridge the gap between classroom learning and the real-world media environment, enhancing students’ practical knowledge.
Students described the experience as highly beneficial, inspiring, and informative, and expressed a keen interest in participating in similar events in the future.
